Use these grill scrapers to safely and effectively clean the grates on your grill.

I received these products from The Sage Owl for review.  All of these products are available for sale on Amazon.  These Grate Grill Scrapers were designed to help eliminate the risk of injury to people from swallowing wire bristles that fall off of the wire brushes that are commonly used to clean barbecue grills.  This happens more often than you would expect.  There is an average of one Emergency Room visit every 3 days due to people accidentally ingesting a piece of wire from a wire brush used to clean a grill. 

There are two styles of Grate Grill Scrapers to choose from:  standard and universal.  Each style comes in both Stainless Steel and Brass, all of which I will include in this review.  But first, let me mention the handle.  The photo above shows a handle that you can use with all models of grill scrapers.  The handle is made of solid, anodized aluminum, so it is more durable than a wooden handle.  It allows you to use a Grate Grill Scraper to clean your grill while it is still hot.  You can even use it to spot clean while you are cooking without worrying about it contaminating your food.  The suggested retail price of the handle is $14.95.  

The two photos above show the Standard Grill Grate Scrapers.  These are used for the typical backyard grill or indoor oven racks.  They have 3 grooves for cleaning rounded grates and 1 groove for cleaning v-shapes grates.  You may notice that both of these Grate Grill Scrapers are shaped the same.  The difference is in the material they are made of.  Model #S4420 is made of Stainless Steel and Model #S4430 is made of Brass.  The suggested retail price of Model #S4420 is $12.95 and for Model #S4430 it is $12.23.

These two photos show the Universal Grill Grate Scrapers.  Once again, one is made of Stainless Steel and one is made of Brass.  I will explain the reason for this in a moment.  But first, let me tell you about Model #S4480 and Model #S4490.  They have 13 grooves of varying sizes and shapes to clean the widest variety of Barbecue Grills.  This is the perfect version to take with you if you frequent campgrounds or parks and plan to use the grills provided on the grounds.  These models also have a built in bottle opener and griddle cleaner.  The suggested retail price of Model #S4480 is $17.39 and for Model #S4490 it is $18.81.

So why is each version available in both Stainless Steel and Brass?  Well, Stainless Steel works best on chrome plated, stainless steel and cast iron grills.  You should also use it on any old, rusty grill grates.  Stainless Steel is more durable than brass, aluminum and wood; so it will last much longer.  Brass works best on grills that are Teflon and Porcelain coated.  It will not scratch these surfaces like Stainless Steel will because Brass is softer.

If you are not sure what type of grill you have, follow this rule of thumb:  if the grill grate is black, use brass; if the grill grate is gray, silver or covered in rust, use Stainless Steel.  The only exception to this rule is if your black grill grate is made of cast iron, you should use the Stainless Steel scraper.  If your grill grate has a rough textured finish, it is most likely cast iron.  Most other types have a smooth finish.   

I found these Grate Grill Scrapers to be very easy to use.  They effectively cleared away all of the stuck on food with far less effort than any other method of cleaning that I have tried.  And being able to clean it immediately after cooking, without having to wait for it to cool off, was just an added bonus.  I really like the peace of mind I have from knowing that I did not leave any dangerous pieces of wire behind to be picked up by the food at our next BBQ.  And I love the portability that their small size gives them.

The product I received is the Kachula Adventure Blanket.  Described on the Coalatree website as "the Swiss Army Knife of Blankets", the Kachula is very versatile and can be used for all of your outdoor blanket needs.  Whether you are camping, going to a music festival, spending the day at the beach or going on a picnic; this blanket is perfect for every situation.

Spoil your dog with these products!

I was very excited to receive the Keebos. The variety of ways to wear this item makes it the most durable and versatile phone holder I have ever owned. The Keebos charm that is attached also gives it a “designer” appearance.

The case itself is clear and very durable. The cords are long and thick, capped off stylishly. They come in a variety of colors and patterns. Adjusting the length of how you want to wear it reminds me of a bolo tie, excellent quality and stylish. My preferred way to wear it is cross-body. 

My fiance and I take nightly walks and the Keebos allows me to keep a hand free and one to carry a bottle of water. When my phone rings I just lift it up since it hangs upside down. I don't have to worry about it falling out of a pocket or accidentally dropping it. The Keebos really gives a sense of security for my cell phone.
