Privacy Screens and Your Outdoor Space

Having a free standing privacy screen that has a decorative pattern cut out will help you to define your space. Not to mention the fact that it will make your outdoor space feel much more private and intimate. There are many different screens that you can choose from to create the perfect garden retreat. And when you are ready buy one, you'll be amazed at how easy it is to get the look you're going for. A screen is also a great way to hide any eyesores that are not easily removed, making your garden look and feel even cozier. If you have a lot of things that you need to store, such as lawnmowers or gardening tools, then you can use privacy screens to keep them out of sight. But it might be better to opt for custom wood sheds for your storage needs instead. With a shed, you can keep everything out of the way and out of sight. You can even use your shed as an entertaining space.

Set the Mood with Some Lanterns

Another thing that you can do is hang some trendy rattan lanterns from any trees that may be in your garden. Or you can opt for string lights instead. This is a great way to give your space a warm and inviting glow. The great thing about string lights is that you can set them and then forget about them. By choosing solar powered lights, you won't have to worry about turning them off. And having solar powered lights also means no worrying about having a sky high energy bill.

Add an Outdoor Rug

Want to add an element of coziness to your garden? One thing that you can do is to add an outdoor rug. Outdoor rugs not only look great, they're also a great way to give your outdoor space an instant home vibe. You can also use them to hide any imperfections in your garden. Use them to cover up any unsightly decking that's in need of staining, or even cracked concrete.

Get a Fire Pit

You can’t beat that campfire scent. Make your summer evenings a little bit sweeter by having a wood burning fire pit in your outdoor oasis. You can create one yourself by using DIY flagstone, or you can opt for a metal one that you can fill up and light. Either way, a permanent fire pit always looks good. And a nice crackling fire makes it easy to stay warm and cozy when the nights grow a little colder.
