4 Fun Games That Your Family Will Love

Whether you're looking for some awesome gift ideas for Christmas, or just want to add to your collection of games for Family Game Night, I have some great suggestions for you! These games can all be found on Amazon.

You'll have a blast playing Zen Battle from award winning game designer David Yakos (who is a five time nominee and a two time winner of Toy Inventor of the Year) and Moonrise Games!  This is an easy to learn fast paced (a game lasts 15-30 minutes), fun and competitive game that combines strategy, creativity and luck to determine who wins.  This is a 2-4 player card game recommended for ages 8-98, so your whole family will love it!  Try to keep calm as you race to become Zen master with a mix of strategy, creativity and luck.  You don't have to be into yoga, crystals or hippie stuff to enjoy this unpredictably fun game! 

Players race to align their Chakra cards from #1 to #7, with a Mastery card in the 8th slot.  The first player to win 4 rounds gains 4 tokens and wins the Zen Battle!  You'll be shocked by how strategic this game is as you find out who's chill and who's competitive.  Drawing Calm Pool, Distraction and Dig Deep cards will add unpredictability to the game, as well as tons of fun.

Double Ditto is a fast paced family game that can be played with kids 8 years and over.  And adults enjoy it just as much.  It was Creative Child Magazine's "Game of the Year" in 2016.  To play, you pick a category card and read it out loud.  Then you quickly write down two answers that fit in that category.  Be creative and clever with your answers!  The object of the game is to write down answers that you think other players will write.  If you match and answer with another player, you score a "ditto!".  If you match both answers, you score a "double ditto!"  The game comes with 400 category cards, a 15 second timer, score sheets and an instruction card.  You can also purchase an expansion set separately. 

Spoof is a hilarious bluffing board game that will have you talking and laughing all night long.  It's super easy to learn, you'll be playing in as little as 5 minutes.  You need 4-8 players and it's recommended for ages 10 and over (but younger kids can play by teaming up with an adult).  To play, you need to "Spoof" your friends by making up clever, fake answers to fun trivia questions.  If you are able to fool someone into choosing your fake answer, you score points.  You also score points if you choose the correct answer and avoid their fake answers they try to "Spoof" you with.  This game is really fun at parties, bringing lots of laughs for everyone!

And finally we have Don't Go Boom.  This card game will keep you and your kids guessing right up until the last card.  What's the object of the game you ask?  It's simple:  Don’t Go Boom!  You need to get the lowest score in 3 rounds by totaling up the numbers on each player's minefield cards.  Watch out for the Big Bad Bomb cards because they’re worth 15 points each.  Don't Go Boom is an easy to learn game inspired by the parlor card game, Golf.  It's perfect for 2-6 players age 7 and up.  Not only is this game a "blast", it will also improve your kids' counting and math skills as the add up the minefield cards to find out who won!
