SPOTMYUV is a little sticker that you wear on your skin. It changes color when it's time to reapply your sunscreen. It starts out purple, then turns clear when you apply your sunscreen. When your sunscreen wears off, it turns purple again to let you know it's time to reapply. You can use the same sticker for up to 6 reapplications, so it's perfect for a day at the beach, a backyard BBQ or anything that requires you to be in the sun.
Each sticker dot has a triangular shaped tap that you use to remove the sticker from the sheet and position it on your skin. Make sure you don't touch the adhesive side as you apply the sticker to clean, dry skin. You can place the sticker anywhere, as long as it is an area that is exposed to the sun. A good place is the upper arm or the back of your hand. Once the sticker is firmly placed on your skin, remove the triangular tab and press down on the sticker to make sure it will stay. Next, take your sunscreen and smear some over the sticker and surrounding area, but don't rub it in. Let it sit on the sticker for 30 seconds. This is to activate the dermaTrue skin mimicking layer (this will ensure that the sunscreen on your skin correlates to the sunscreen on the sticker). After 30 seconds you can rub in the sunscreen like you normally would and also apply sunscreen to all exposed areas of skin. The sticker will remain purple until it is exposed to direct sunlight, then it will turn clear. When it turns purple again, it's time to reapply.
Now you can always be certain that your kids (and yourself) are being protected from the sun. You'll know exactly when you need to reapply your sunscreen. It stays on while swimming and won't leave a tan line. It works with sunscreen lotions or sprays. And is perfect for any outdoor activity. It's so simple to use, there's no excuse not to!
