Follow the Misadventures of Echo City Capers in this children's comic Book Series

I received these books from Ralph and Joe, the guys behind The Misadventures of Echo City Capers, for review.  Ralph Grecco Jr. and Joe Swarctz created, wrote and self published these comic books written for kids.  Their target audience is kids age 7-12, so there is no violence in their stories.  Just light hearted fun and slap stick type humor.  Although some characters may be in multiple issues (like Nightbat), they don't focus on one particular character, each issue relays an adventure of a different resident of Echo City and features a different bumbling villain each time.  Each issue is a stand alone story that can be followed and understood even if you haven't read the previous issues.

Issue 1 "Magic Carpet Ride"Presto Chango, the world's worst magician, steals the famous 24-karot Phat-Hi-Knee Top Hat.  Will Nightbat be able to stop the magician and his Bench Bunnies?  Or will Nightbat be dealt a hand he can't play?

Issue 2 "Color My Curls"Miss Fortune, Echo City's mythical madam, finds a grey hair while taking a selfie.  In her vanity the lady sets upon the city's Annual Apple Festival.  Will Nightbat get to the core of the mayhem or get peeled in the process?

Issue 3 "Follow Boo, Follow Me"The Monsters of Echo City slither, sneak and often burp from eating too much.  Every citizen knows they exist, but hopes never to see them.  What happens when three friendly, clumsy and lovable monsters just want to go out trick-or-treating and enjoy Halloween night as much as humans do?

Issue 4 "Age of Aquariums":  Lighthouse Man and his smart alecky henchbird, Seagully, have made a good living stealing wallets jewelry from tourists and workers down at Echo City's harbor.  But when a state of the art Aquarium/Water Park opens down at the city's biggest pier, they're no longer able to sneak and slither around the docks undetected.

    1. It's a fairly new series. Joe and Ralph wrote, illustrated and self published the first 4 issues and are working on the next ones. The have financed them completely on their own and are currently trying to land a deal with a publisher. They're really cute comic books and very kids friendly. Spread the word, and if you get a chance to read them, I highly recommend it!
