2020 Starlight Ridge Sauvignon Blanc ($11.29) is a punchy and refreshing Australian White.  This Sauvignon Blanc offers inviting aromas of citrus and passionfruit accented with freshly cut grass.  The palate is dry and balanced, with layered notes of guava, papaya and lemongrass complemented by vibrant acidity.  The finish is clean, persistent, and wonderfully thirst quenching.  Winemakers utilized careful handling and techniques to allow for maximum flavor extraction from grapes while preserving the varietal’s natural zest.  Sauvignon Blanc grapes were grown in South Eastern Australia, a vast area that’s home to world renowned wine regions and diverse soils.  Enjoy Starlight Ridge Sauvignon Blanc with seafood, grilled chicken, salads and light appetizers, or simply sip it on its own. Serve chilled.

2018 Kawra Carménère Reserva ($13.49) is a distinctive and fruity Chilean Red.  Bright ruby red with purple tonalities, this Carménère has enticing aromas of blackberries and plums that mingle with hints of toasted wood.  The varietal’s bright fruit notes come out on the palate, led by red fruits with peppery accents.  The finish is complex, demonstrating a nice balance of fruit flavor alongside smooth tannins.  The grapes were estate grown in vineyards in Loncomilla, located in the heart of the Maule Valley.  One of Chile’s oldest wine regions, Maule Valley has diverse terroir and a Mediterranean climate, which allows a long growing season.  This Carménère is an excellent choice for everyday food pairings, including beef stew, pork chops and soft cheeses like Brie. Uncork this an hour before serving to let the aromas and flavors open up.

2019 Myth Red Blend ($10.79) is a big and flavorful California Red.  It has bold dark fruit aromas, fresh black cherry and rhubarb flavors, and dizzying notes of vanilla and mocha.  It's made from an exciting blend of beloved California grapes.  This Red blend is perfect with a steak dish, a cut of lamb, beef or pork will do nicely as well.

2019 Mentor Red Blend Douro D.O.C. ($13.59) is an elegant red blend with sweet fruit notes.  This medium to full bodied wine opens with aromas of sweet and ripe red fruits that meet refined spice notes.  There is elegant structure with soft tannins, leading to a persistent, balanced finish.  A careful selection of fully ripe grapes comprise this blend:  Touriga Franca, Tinto Cão, and Touriga Nacional, joined by Tinta Roriz (also known as Tempranillo).  The mixture of different varieties allows for a great complexity of flavors.   2019 Mentor Red Blend Douro D.O.C. is excellent with a variety of cheeses, especially smoked.  It will also complement red meat dishes, such as beef teriyaki, chili and steak with chimichurri sauce.

2018 Wolfson Cellars Zinfandel ($8.99) is a jammy zinfandel from California.
This wine offers bold and rich flavors on the palate, including the varietal’s classic jam, blueberry, black pepper, cherry and plum.  Wolfson Cellars utilizes California’s excellent climate along with a mixture of high tech and traditional winemaking techniques to produce a classic and flavorful California Zinfandel, a style that has become ever more popular in the region.  Pair a bottle of Wolfson Cellars Zinfandel with rich meat dishes such as steak, barbecue pork and grilled chicken.

2017 Haraszthy Family Cellars Bearitage Lodi Gypsy Rosé ($9.09) is a Rosé blend of Pinot Noir & Zinfandel.  The wine is dry with a beautiful lighter than usual, soft pink tint.  The wine uses minimal skin contact to ensure the light color extraction.  Beautiful aromas of cherry and strawberry with floral notes.  The 2017 Bearitage Lodi Gypsy Rosé is a nice compliment to BBQ pork loin roast, leg of lamb, salmon or shellfish dishes. Best served very chilled.
