A fun activity to do with your kids that will result in a delicious treat to share!

I received this product from Baketivity for review.  One of the best gifts that you can give your little Valentines is time.  So spend some time with them doing something that they will enjoy.  All kids love helping Mom and Dad bake goodies in the kitchen.  Baketivity makes it easy to do this with their baking kits.  These kits contain everything that you need (except eggs and oil...you will need to add those) to make the specified treat.  These are perfect if you have kids between the ages of 4 and 10!

Baketivity is a subscription service but you can also purchase their kits without subscribing.  If you choose to subscribe, you will receive monthly boxes bursting with new recipes, activity booklets and super easy baking kits delivered right to your door.  Subscription prices vary depending on how long you want to subscribe.  If you want to pay for one month at a time (with the option to cancel at any time), a monthly subscription costs $32.95.  A 3 month subscription costs $92.85 ($30.95 per month), a 6 month subscription costs $175.00 ($29.17 per month) and a one year subscription costs $311.40 ($25.95 per month).  A free apron is included with each subscription.

 
Each month you will receive a complete kit for that contains all of the ingredients to make a specific tasty treat.  You'll get a recipe book that gives step by step instructions with colorful kid friendly illustrations, pre-measured ingredients to mix and stir together to create your delicious treat, colorful lesson activities and educational games to play.  All of this comes in an all in one baking activity box.

The pre-measured ingredients are vacuum sealed, making it easy for your little one to mix them together.  You just need to add eggs and oil to complete the recipes.  Imagine how proud your kids will be when the finished treat is ready to be eaten!

The fun doesn't stop one your treats are placed in the oven!  They include colorful lessons and an educational game to play while you're waiting for your goodies to finish baking.  

 
If you're not ready to subscribe, you can still enjoy this experience with your children by buying a one time kit.  You will receive the kit of your choice without being subscribed, meaning you will only receive a kit if you specifically order it.  I received a one time kit for this review.  It's the Chocolate Chunk Cookie Kit and it costs $32.95.  It includes the following pre-measured ingredients:  flour, sugar, baking powder, cocoa, chocolate chips and salt.  It came with a clear, easy to follow recipe plus the lesson and game for my children and I to play while our cookies baked.  I have 3 children ages 6, 10 and 12, and they all thoroughly enjoyed this experience as much as I did.  And when we were all done, we had 24 crispy, delicious Chocolate Chunk Cookies to eat!  What more could you ask for?
