These games are perfect as Valentine's Day gifts for Teens!

I received these games from Amigo Games for review.  If you have teen children, you may be wondering what you can give them for Valentine's Day.  Or perhaps they want to exchange Valentine's Day gifts with their friends.  The games listed below could be just what you are looking for!  They are all lots of fun and will provide hours of entertainment for any teen (and adults as well!).  Not just on Valentine's Day, but any time at all.  And they are great for family game night as well!  If you give them candy, it will just be eaten and then they'll be left empty handed once it's gone (not to mention the fact that all of that sugar is bad for them).  But they will enjoy playing these games indefinitely!  These games are available from most retailers.  You can use the STORE FINDER on the Amigo Games site to find a store near you.  They can also be found on Amazon.

Richard Garfield's Carnival of Monsters has a suggested retail price of $39.99.  It's recommended for ages 12 and over.  You need 2-5 people to play and the average game time is 45 minutes.  This game is made by Richard Garfield, the inventor of Magic The Gathering.  It's a deck building and set collecting game that has a unique and devious storyline.  It features the luscious custom artwork from famous gaming illustrators.

Can you build the most magnificent menagerie of monsters the realm has ever seen?  Explore magical lands brimming with exotic beasts, and try to capture the most impressive specimens to win the top award for your carnival.  But the monsters are not peaceful, so you will need to hire hunters to keep them from escaping before you can put them on display for your adoring public...and achieve your secret goals.  This masterful game is brimming with strategy and tons of fun.

Richard Garfield's Carnival of Monsters is made up of 82 Land Cards, 78 Monster Cards, 13 Staff Member Cards, 7 Season Cards, 21 Event Cards, 21 Secret Goal Cards, 17 Loan Cards, 60 Gold Coin Tokens, 15 Hunter Tokens, 3 Royal Hunter Dice, 5 Player Boards, 1 Main Board and Illustrated Instructions.  This game is so much fun, it's sure to be a big hit with your teens!

Ciub has a suggested retail price of $19.99.  It's recommended for ages 10 and over.  This is a 2-4 player game and the average game time is 45 minutes.  It's a fast moving strategy game that has just the right amount of chance built in.

In this epic quest for the Opus Magnum, wizards invoke strategic powers and magic with every roll of the cubes.  They'll gain strength and perform feats of wizardry that even let them change their rolls as they compete to capture magic spells and earn valuable points.  But gaining strength is short lived, for they must relinquish cubes and start their quest anew each time they capture a spell.  And in a magical twist, capturing the Opus Magnum isn't always enough.  The player with the most points is the one to be crowned the Ruler of the Wizards.

Inside the box you will find 33 Spell Cards, 4 Player Mats, 4 Player Tokens, 7 Dice Summary Cards, 62 Magical Dice and the instructions.  Ciúb is a big hit with its fast pace and ever changing play.

Eye Sea has a retail price of $12.99 and is recommended for ages 10 and over.  You can have 2-10 players, so it's great to play when you have a large gathering.  And the average game time is only 15 minutes, so it's really quick.  Eye Sea is an excellent creative and lateral thinking game.

Players flip over nine cards, then combine any two to create a saying, phrase, movie title, word, song lyric, slogan...any well recognized combination of words.  For example: "Party Time", "Baby's Got Back", "The Hot Seat" and "Love Potion".  It's the game where players will love to "Brain Storm"!

Eye Sea is extremely portable and perfect to take along to family or friends' houses as you take turns hosting game night.  The game consists of 120 Picture Cards (that offer millions of possible connections) and the instructions.
