Genevieve is an amazing artist, she perfectly captured the likeness of both of my dogs. So much so that it is almost like looking at a black and white photograph. Trooper and Pugly were both very much loved in my family. But we didn't have them at the same time. My Mom brought Pugly home after we lost Trooper. Because they are both missed so much, I thought it would be nice to surprise my Mom with a portrait of the two of them together. So I gave Genevieve a photo of each of them and asked her if she could put them both into one drawing. She did such an amazing job of it, and my Mom cried when she opened it up and saw it. Her first words were, "They're together!"

The photos above are the ones I gave to her for reference. As you can see, she absolutely nailed their likenesses in her drawing. She even added their names on their tags, which I thought was a wonderful touch!
She packaged the completed portrait and mailed it directly to my Mom. And even the way she packaged it was adorable, as shown in the photo above.
You can see more examples of Genevieve's awesome talent in the photo above. On the left are her drawings and on the right are the original photos that she used as reference while drawing them.
